TileFlow, developed by Innovative Research, Inc., is a specialized computational fluid dynamics (CFD) tool for planning and optimizing cooling in raised-floor data centers. It models the underfloor plenum, perforated floor tiles and grilles, racks and IT loads, CRAC/CRAH units, and common obstructions to predict airflow distribution, static pressure, and rack inlet temperatures. Designed specifically for data center workflows, TileFlow combines an intuitive 3D interface with a purpose-built solver, enabling fast, reliable analysis without the overhead of general-purpose CFD.
Engineers use TileFlow to test tile layouts and porosities, evaluate containment strategies, locate hotspots, and diagnose bypass and recirculation. The software supports rapid “what-if” studies for capacity planning, equipment placement, and cooling system changes, helping teams improve energy efficiency and reduce thermal risk. Output includes clear visualizations—such as temperature and pressure maps, airflow vectors, and tile CFM—as well as reports that document performance and support compliance with thermal guidelines. The result is a practical, validated approach to designing and operating more resilient, cost-effective data centers.
TileFlow is developed by Innovative Research, Inc.. The most popular version of this product among our users is 4.0. The name of the program executable file is TileFlow.exe.
